Campbell River RCMP are sharing details of a 3 month investigation which netted drugs and cash.

On July 9, Campbell River RCMP executed a search warrant in the 500 block of South Alder Street.

Over 225 grams of suspected cocaine, 10 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 4.5 kg of marihuana and over $77,000 in cash was located and seized.

A 62-year-old Campbell River man and a 58-year-old Campbell River woman were arrested and released with a first court appearance set for October.

Constable Maury Tyre says it's an excellent example of how investigators are working to remove illicit drugs from the street and hold traffickers accountable.

If you have information regarding illegal drug trafficking or ongoing criminal enterprise, you’re asked to contact the Campbell River RCMP at 250-286-6221.
