We're just into the thick of Fall, but it's not too early to be thinking about Spring.

Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex is already filling out its Spring schedule, hosting the 2023 North Island Outdoor Adventure Show.

During the weekend of Apr 22nd and 23rd, outdoor enthusiasts will have the opportunity to browse a variety of products and learn more about North Island outdoor activities.

In addition to discovering new ways to enjoy the outdoors, attendees will have the opportunity to preview, explore and purchase the latest gear from British Columbia’s most respected and prominent retailers.

Strathcona Gardens Program Coordinator, Joel Wheeldon, says that after the inaugural event was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, his team is more excited than ever to be able to start planning the show for residents of Vancouver Island and beyond,

Both indoor and outdoor exhibitor spaces, along with various sponsorship opportunities are available.

Exhibitor registration and more information can be found at https://www.strathconagardens.com/north-island-outdoor-adventure-show/

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
