Storm Defenseman Dumont Heading To The National Aboriginal Hockey Championship

Campbell River Storm defenseman Wyatt Dumont has been selected by Team BC and will be traveling to the Membertou First Nation in Nova Scotia next month for the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship.

Campbell River Storm defenseman Wyatt Dumont has been selected by Team BC and will be traveling to the Membertou First Nation in Nova Scotia next month for the National Aboriginal Hockey Championship.

Dumont, coming off a strong rookie season with the Storm, is pleased at the prospect of heading to this prestigious tournament where the competition is expected to be top notch…

The Seventeen year old’s teammates Jalen Price and Cody Savey went to the same tournament in 2018 capturing a Gold medal. Dumont explains the process starting with how excited he is to have made Team BC.

Dumont is a two-way defenseman who defends exceptionally and effectively transitions the puck up ice. The National Championship runs May 7th to 14th in Nova Scotia.
