Stage 2 water restrictions will be in effect Friday, August 1st for users of the Cumberland water system.
During Stage 2 restrictions, watering your lawn with a sprinkler is reduced to certain days and hours based on your address - even numbered addresses may water on Wednesday’s from 4am to 10am and 7pm to 10pm, and odd numbered addresses may water on Thursdays during the same time frames.
Watering trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetables with a hand-held container, hose equipped with a shut-off nozzle, or by using micro-irrigation or drip-irrigation systems is permitted on any day at any time.
Washing sidewalks, driveways, windows, and buildings is prohibited under most circumstances.
Other restrictions and rules may also apply - to find out more, visit Village of Cumberland.
