The Strathcona Regional District is inviting residents to review and provide feedback on the Draft Parks and Trails Plan for Electoral Area D (Oyster Bay–Buttle Lake).
The plan will guide future improvements and investments in parks and trails, helping create a well-connected network of outdoor recreation spaces that meets the needs of residents and visitors.
The draft plan has been shaped by community input gathered during earlier public engagement sessions this year.
The Regional District is now launching the third and final round of public engagement, with opportunities throughout July for residents to review the draft plan and provide feedback before it is finalized.
Residents are encouraged to review the draft plan, see how community feedback has been incorporated, and complete the online survey, open until July 17, 2026.
There’s also a Virtual Open House on Thursday, July 9, from 630pm to 8pm.
The final plan is set to be completed by September.
To review the draft plan, complete the survey, or learn more about the project, visit Strathcona Regional District.
