Students at Southgate Middle School are celebrating after meeting their goal for this year's Terry Fox Run.

Students raised $2000 for the Terry Fox Cancer Research Foundation.

As well, the Southgate Gators also managed to raise $500 to support Cops for Cancer.

The Gators are now hoping to collect 2000 non-perishable food items to donate to the Campbell River Food Bank.
