The Comox Valley Regional District is still looking for two representatives from Union Bay for the Sewer Extension South Public Advisory Committee. The project will be delivered using a Liquid Waste Management Plan, in order to roll service to Royston/Union Bay into the broader Comox Valley sewer plan under development.
Key to the plan is the role of a Public Advisory Committee (PAC). The group meets monthly to consider information from technical experts and the project team and provide feedback and guidance. The PAC members represent their community in a key project role, sharing comment and input.
PAC members make a monthly commitment to meetings, and additional time to review information. They also receive a stipend for each meeting.
If you are interested in joining the PAC, applications are being accepted until
