On the roads, a section of England Avenue in Courtenay is closed to through traffic today, from 7am - 5pm for concrete pours.

Traffic control personnel will be on hand to assist commuters and emergency vehicles. No access will be available, even for emergency vehicles.

Next week - a full road closure in downtown Campbell River.

St. Anns Rd, between Alder St. and Highway 19A, will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday next week - from 6am to 10am, for maintenance.

Barricades and signs will be in place to detour traffic around the work site, as there will be no access permitted.
