There will be a lot of action in the skies over the Campbell River Airport today.
Campbell River Skydive Centre, in partnership with Operation Pegasus Foundation, will hold the second annual Op Pegasus Jump on Thursday, as well as a special Wings Ceremony and Tribute to Fallen Comrades.
The joint venture brings together serving and veteran Canadian Armed Forces members, First Responders (Police, RCMP, Paramedic, and firefighters), and their family to experience skydiving for the first time while ''building relationships with brethren and colleagues who share the experience of occupational stress injuries or post-traumatic stress disorder.''
Things get underway at 5pm at the Campbell River Airport.
