Police continue to search for a missing Port Alberni woman, not seen for almost two weeks. 40 year old Amber Manthorne has not been seen since July 7th.

Searchers have scoured the area south of Nanaimo where Manthorne's vehicle was found days after she went missing.

The Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit was called in to assist with the case last week.

The unit says it continues to follow up on tips. Friends and family who organized weekend searches have created a tip line, accepting calls, texts, and screen shots - the number is 250-730-1544.

Tips can be emailed to findingambermanthorne@outlook.com - and there is also a Finding Amber Manthorne Facebook page.

You can also contact Port Alberni RCMP with any information.
