Representatives from Comox Strathcona Waste Management say that the vehicle scales at the entrance to the Campbell River Waste Management Centre are scheduled for maintenance on Thursday, October 9, and Friday, October 10.
Only one scale will be operational at a time while repairs are made.
Delays are expected and CSWM asks that, if possible, the public hold off on visiting the Campbell River Waste Management Centre until repairs are completed.
Comox Strathcona Waste Management manages over 100,000 tonnes of waste and recycled material annually and oversees a number of diversion and education programs for the Strathcona and Comox Valley Regional Districts.
