Residents in Sayward have a chance to clear out unwanted household items this weekend during the community's annual Clean-Up Days.
Large household waste that won't fit in curbside collection, along with appliances, electronics and tires, can be dropped off at the Main Road Yard between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday.
Drywall and hazardous waste will not be accepted.
Residents are also reminded that motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze and recyclable packaging materials including cardboard, tin, foam, and hard and soft plastics should be taken to the Sayward Recycling Depot, since those materials are banned from household garbage.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore will also be on site collecting gently used household goods for donation.
More information is available at Strathcona Regional District.
