The manhunt in Saskatchewan for Myles Sanderson has ended in his death.
The manhunt in Saskatchewan for Myles Sanderson has ended in his death.
RCMP say Sanderson was located in a stolen vehicle yesterday and they managed to divert him into a ditch near the town of Rosthern.
He was taken into custody but then went into medical distress soon after.
He was pronounced dead in a Saskatoon hospital.
An unnamed official earlier said that Sanderson died of self-inflicted injuries.
Ten victims remain in hospital.
Three are in a critical condition.
Police say we may never know why Sanderson and his brother, Damien Sanderson, went on a killing spree Sunday.
Ten people were killed in James Smith Cree Nation and the nearby village of Weldon.
Damien Sanderson was found dead in a grassy area near one of attack sites on Monday.
