Sannich Bank Shooting Update

Six police officers were injured in a shootout with 22-year old twin brothers, who were both killed.

An update today from the RCMP on its findings into the BMO Bank of Montreal shooting in Saanich last summer. Six police officers were injured in a shootout with 22-year old twin brothers, who were both killed. Last year, an independent review was conducted and found that police had fired more than 100 rounds in the daytime shootout. The review stated that police showed remarkable courage during what it described as a series of dramatic and violent events.’
