Stage Three water restrictions have been lifted for residents connected to the Royston Water Local Service Area.
The Comox Valley RD moved the community to Stage Two restrictions on Monday, allowing residents to use sprinklers twice a week based on their street address.
Properties with even-numbered addresses may water lawns and gardens on Tuesdays and Saturdays, while odd-numbered properties may use sprinklers on Wednesdays and Sundays.
On permitted watering days, sprinklers may only operate between 6 and 8 a.m. or between 8 and 10 p.m.
Since today is Wednesday, residents with odd-numbered addresses may use sprinklers during those designated morning and evening periods.
Sprinkler use remains prohibited outside each property’s assigned days and hours.
Current restrictions and the complete water-conservation bylaw are available at Comox Valley Regional District.
