The Village of Cumberland is making residents aware that it might be noisy around Village Park this weekend as Comox Valley RibFest returns.
Set up began yesterday with the event running Friday thru Sunday (11am to 9pm Fri. and Sat. & 11am to 7pm Sun.)
Ribbers will be preparing food onsite - and there will be music from the mainstage.
Village staff have worked with organizers to minimize the impacts of this event on residents, including both noise and vehicle traffic.
The Village Park playground, splash park, sports courts, dog park and jump park will all remain open to the public throughout the event.
The Village says those impacted can submit comments to the Village office at info@cumberland.ca or by calling 250.336.2291 during regular office hours.
