Campbell River and area residents can take part in a community event this weekend that mixes sustainability with bargain hunting.
The City’s Repair Café and Garage Sale are being combined on Saturday, offering people a chance to keep household items out of the landfill while uncovering unique finds.
Seasoned volunteer fixers will be on hand to help repair a wide range of items - from small electrical appliances and power tools to clothing and jewelry - all free of charge.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Community Centre. Admission is free.
