Registration opens today for classes at the Campbell River ElderCollege.
A big crowd of prospective students attended an information session last week to go over the courses being offered for adults 50 years and up.
The college provides a wide-ranging list of classes that include everything from using technology, understanding bird brains, or learning to draw cartoons.
Courses run anywhere from one to eight sessions, usually one session a week. Students must be 50 years or older and purchase an annual membership at $10 per year.
Course costs range from $10 to $30 - with proceeds heading toward two $1,000 annual bursaries presented to Campbell River students in the medical field.
For further information, or to register, starting today, visit Campbell River ElderCollege.
