Comox Valley RCMP are looking for help after reports of suspicious behaviour in the MacDonald Wood Park and Goose Spit areas of Comox.

Police responded to a call on Wednesday, October 11th regarding a woman's concern about being followed by an individual at Goose Spit, around 430pm in the afternoon.

The male suspect - around 25 years old - was approximately 6 feet tall, with light brown hair, wearing a beige/grey hoodie and black track pants.

Another incident was reported on Friday, October 20th, when a woman reported a similar experience at MacDonald Wood Park in Comox, around 4:00 p.m.

The suspect in that case was a man approximately 25 years old, with light coloured hair, around 5'7" or 5’8” in height, sparse facial hair, wearing a baseball cap with a yellow reflective jacket and black pants.

Police say the incidents were shared on social media, prompting additional reports from the community over the past few days.

"We want to assure the public that our Special Victims Unit is actively investigating these reports." said Constable Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer at Comox Valley RCMP.

"We are diligently gathering evidence and conducting interviews with witnesses, We kindly request anyone who may have observed any suspicious behavior in the area recently or has information about these incidents to come forward."
