Residents of Quadra Island are invited to share their thoughts on the future of their community later this month.
The Strathcona Regional District is hosting a pair of Official Community Plan Open Houses on November 19th and November 26th at the Quadra Community Centre.
Each session runs twice - from 4 to 6 p.m. and again from 7 to 9 p.m.
The sessions will focus on specific policy areas within the OCP, including housing, water and waste management, transportation, agriculture, parks, environmental protection, and local economic development.
Organizers say the goal is to take a closer look at these topics and give community members a chance to provide input on the direction of future planning.
There will also be opportunities to explore other key issues raised by participants.
Additional open houses are being planned for the Outer Islands in the coming months.
