Public Works Will Flush Water Mains In Parts Of East Courtenay Beginning Next Week

Courtenay Public Works will begin flushing water mains in parts of east Courtenay starting Monday and running til November 17th.

Flushing will occur in the area between upper Muir Road/Mission Road to Klanawa Crescent; the area bounded by Evergreen Avenue, 4th St E, Malahat Drive and Lerwick Road; and the area extending from Crown Isle Boulevard to McDonald Drive bounded by Lerwick Road.

Flushing is planned on weekdays between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Residents and businesses may experience temporary, short-term water pressure fluctuations, along with cloudy water or discolouration during those times.
