The Comox Valley Regional District is inviting residents to help shape the future of Saratoga Beach.
A draft local area plan for the community will be released June 1st, outlining objectives and policies that will guide growth and development over the next 5 to 10 years.
Residents and other interested parties are being encouraged to review the draft plan online and share feedback on the proposed policies.
An open house is also being held June 1st from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Oyster River Fire Hall.
The CVRD says the plan has been developed through extensive public input, including surveys, open houses, and focus groups, with priorities focused on environmental protection, responsible growth, sustainable infrastructure, and maintaining a strong sense of community.
Following the feedback period, the final plan will be revised and presented to the regional district board for adoption later this summer.
