Annual property tax sales will be held in Campbell River and Courtenay on Monday, September 28th.

Under B.C.’s Local Government Act, municipalities are required to conduct a tax sale each year.

Properties may be included when property taxes have remained unpaid for the past three years.

Both auctions are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Campbell River’s sale will take place in Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 301 St. Ann’s Road.

Courtenay’s auction will be held at Rotary Hall inside the Florence Filberg Centre, located at 411 Anderton Avenue.

The properties included in Courtenay’s sale were listed in the September 16th edition of the Comox Valley Record and will be published again on September 23rd.

A listed property can be removed from the auction if the delinquent taxes and accumulated interest are paid before the sale begins.
