Project Watershed is inviting the community to enjoy an evening of local food, wine, music, and conservation this September.

The annual Keeping It Living Dinner takes place Saturday, September 12 at 40 Knots Winery in Comox.

The fundraiser helps fund habitat restoration, scientific research, and environmental education projects throughout the Comox Valley.

Manager of Education and Outreach Caila Holbrook says every ticket purchased helps restore critical habitat, support important research, and connect people, especially young people, with the natural world.

The evening will also celebrate the completion of the Kus-kus-sum tidal wetland restoration project, while looking ahead to future conservation work.

Executive Director Caitlin Pierzchalski says the restoration is a milestone that belongs to the entire community, adding the fundraiser will help Project Watershed continue restoring habitats, conducting research, and educating people about the landscapes that make the Comox Valley unique.
