There will be a full road closure on Hilchey Road, between South Alder Street and Palmer Road, starting today.
It’s part of approximately three weeks’ worth of work for the replacement of traffic lights at South Alder and Hilchey.
The full road closure is in effect from 8am-5pm through Friday.
Construction began Monday and this first round of construction will last about three works with crews on site weekdays between 7am and 7pm.
When the project is complete, there will be a new left turn arrow for southbound traffic on Alder Street.
