Work at the intersection of Port Augusta St & Beaufort Ave has been extended.

Work, anticipated to be done yesterday, is now estimated to last until tomorrow.

Working will continue from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm today and tomorrow, weather dependent.

This road closure is essential for construction of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project.

Access through the intersection is restricted to local residents and businesses within the construction zone, including the Comox Valley Harbour Authority and the Blackfin Pub.

Visitors to the Blackfin Pub and 1757 Beaufort Avenue medical services building are directed to travel via Nordin Street.

For Marina Park access, the public is directed to use the west parking lot via Wilcox Street.

All eastbound traffic on Beaufort Avenue will be directed south on Port Augusta Street to the Marina Park parking lot.
