Port Alberni RCMP are investigating a fire at the Service BC building.
On Tuesday morning, crews responded to a structure fire at the building on Port Alberni’s 8th Avenue.
Despite suppression efforts, the building is a complete loss and RCMP are investigating the fire as arson.
Police do have a suspect in custody.
Police are asking anyone with security video or dashcam footage in the area of 4070 Eighth Avenue to call the detachment’s non-emergency line at 250-723-2424.
