Comox Valley RCMP are investigating an allegation of a sexual assault that took place last weekend near a rope swing on the Puntledge River in Courtenay.
Police are looking for anyone travelling along the river in that area, between 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm on Saturday, September 2nd, as they may have crucial information about this incident.
Police say that due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, no further details can be released at this time.
