Arrowsmith Search and Rescue and Oceanside RCMP are searching for a 75-year-old man reported missing earlier this week.

John Mathers was reported missing by family on Monday (April 15th) afternoon and his vehicle was located, unoccupied, that night at Englishman River Falls Park in Errington.

A search of the park and surrounding area well into the evening turned up nothing. They were also searching yesterday.

Mathers is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with balding, light brown hair and a short beard.

He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a black jacket, black ballcap and grey runners.
