It’s the first full day of spring - and plans are underway for the Courtenay Easter Promenade on Friday, April 7th.
The event is intended for children aged one to six years old.
This annual event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lewis Centre, featuring both free activities and a register-in-advance Easter Egg Hunt that is $8 per family.
Free activities are open to everyone with no pre-registration required and include Courtenay’s Arts and Craft Corner, two inflatable bouncy castles - one with a slide and the infamous obstacle course - open gym playtime, and family photos with the Easter Bunny.
The Easter Egg Hunt runs throughout the event and participants must register in advance. Space is limited so please register early.
Participants will be searching for their own specially marked egg hidden by the Easter Bunny that they will redeem for a bag of surprises.
To register, for more event information, or to volunteer, contact the Lewis Centre (250-338-5371) or Courtnea at cstolting@courtenay.ca.
