Beginning Tuesday, there will be periodic full road closures on Redwood Street in Campbell River, between Island Highway and the lane north of Island Highway, and areas on the lane north of Island Highway.

A contractor is being engaged by the City of Campbell River to complete sewer main upgrades in the area.

Traffic will be detoured, and delays may occur.

Motorists are asked to follow all traffic controls in place.

Construction is anticipated to continue through the remainder of this year and extend into 2027.

During this time, there will also be periodic partial road closures on Highway 19A, between Petersen Road and Tamarac Street, and delays may occur.

This work is being completed as part of the Campbellton Sewer System Upgrades project.
