There will be a partial road closure this week on 1st Street in Courtenay, between Urquhart and Menzies Avenue.
Utilities work is happening from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting today, through Friday, with single-lane alternating traffic.
Traffic control personnel will be on site to assist commuters and emergency vehicles.
City officials suggest that you plan ahead and allow extra travel time.
