An open house will take place tonight to highlight the work of Comox Strathcona Waste Management.
It will take place at the Maritime Heritage Building in Campbell River, from 5pm to 8pm.
Residents will learn a little about everything - from landfills and recycling depots to how CSWM manages greenhouse gas emissions and protects groundwater at the landfill.
Vivian Schau, Senior Manager of Solid Waste Services, says the open house is another opportunity for folks to learn more about how they currently manage waste and to offer feedback about their draft goals for the next ten years.
There’s also a survey up for you to offer feedback - it’s live until Monday at Comox Strathcona Waste Management.
