One Dead In Helicopter Crash Near Revelstoke, B.C.

Revelstoke RCMP say a helicopter, which was reported missing on Friday has been located at a crash scene in Glacier National Park.

One person, the sole occupant of the helicopter, is confirmed to have died in the crash.

Revelstoke RCMP said police were were advised shortly before 7 p.m. on Friday, January 5, that a helicopter travelling from Calgary had potentially crashed.

The RCMP is working alongside the Transportation Safety Board and the BC Coroners Service to determine the cause of the incident.
