Applications are now open for North Island College students to get their hands on a share of a half million dollars in scholarships and bursaries.

Every year, new, continuing or graduating NIC students are eligible to apply for hundreds of scholarships and bursaries to help pay for college.

These awards are made possible through the NIC Foundation by friends of North Island College to ensure that finances don't stand between students and their career goals.

Only one application is required to be considered for all NIC Foundation awards which range in value and type of award. Scholarships are awarded for outstanding academic achievement while bursaries are based on financial need.

The application form is now online with submissions being taken through to April 26th.

Successful recipients will be notified in July.

For details, visit North Island College.
