North Island College is celebrating after coming in with a balanced budget, within three years of the Covid 19 pandemic.

“This is a very good news budget for North Island College and the students it serves.", said Patricia Trasolini, chair of the NIC Board of Governors.

"The balanced budget is a key part of the Strategic Plan. We have achieved the goal on time, and we have to give credit to our budget managers and Finance team for this, especially during times of economic uncertainty.”

The College says the balanced budget is a key element of its strategic plan, BUILD 2026.

Calling it a very good news budget for North Island College and the students it serves, NIC Board of Governors Chair Patricia Trasolini is giving credit to the budget managers and Finance team, especially considering the times of economic uncertainty.

The approved budgeted revenue grew by 11 per cent in 2024-25.
