ElderCollege in Campbell River is rolling out a fresh lineup of courses this fall, offering plenty of variety for people 50 and older.
There are 30 courses on the schedule, covering everything from art and history to health, music, photography, technology, nature, even travel. The classes range from one to four sessions, running October through early December.
All of the programs are led by volunteer instructors who share their knowledge in a relaxed setting - so no tests or pressure, just a focus on lifelong learning. Plus, the fees collected help fund three one-thousand-dollar bursaries for North Island College students.
Registration for courses opens September 15 and stays open until five days before each class starts.
There’s also an information session happening Friday, September 12 at 1:30pm at the North Island College campus in Campbell River.
