Comox Fire Rescue has a new Assistant Fire Chief.
Pascal Lafreniere has been with Comox Fire since 2009 and steps into the role following Rick Shelton’s retirement, after more than 25 years as Assistant Chief.
Chief Gord Schreiner says Shelton leaves behind a legacy of leadership, while thanking him for his “remarkable contributions.”
Schreiner says Lafreniere has a great balance of all the skills and attributes needed to help lead the team.
