National Indigenous Peoples Day is tomorrow - a time to recognize and celebrate the traditions, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis.
A free, day-long celebration will take place at the Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds from noon until 9pm.
K’ómoks First Nation and their community and cultural partners are inviting friends and neighbours from across the Comox Valley to celebrate with them.
There will be cultural and environmental workshops, guided walks, culture and archeology displays, Youth and Elder Zones, delicious food, live music, and more.
More information can be found at K’ómoks First Nation.
