RCMP are now investigating the death of a 33 year old woman in Nanaimo a a homicide.
They had responded to a wellness check on January 10th and say as of Tuesday, they are now treating her death as a homicide.
They are looking for a stolen vehicle that may be connected to the case.
It’s a grey 2007 Nissan Sentra with BC license plate S-P-2-7-2-P.
Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a gray 2007 Nissan Sentra with BC plate SP272P that was reported stolen and is related to the investigation.
"This investigation is ongoing and at this time, police do not believe there is any risk to the public, said Constable Gary O'Brien of the Nanaimo RCMP.
