Charges are in the works for a man after a Comox RCMP officer was injured during an arrest last week.
On the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, 2023, frontline officers responded to a report of a man behaving erratically, in possession of a weapon.
As police responded, the man left in a vehicle. He was quickly located and “tactically contained.”
In the process, several vehicles sustained damage, and one police officer incurred minor injuries.
The suspect received medical attention and is facing several criminal charges.
The Comox Valley RCMP would like to thank residents for their patience while traffic was disrupted.
