It was a big weekend for everyone taking part in the 47th annual Rotary Club of Campbell River TV and Online Auction.

Members were back in the Shaw TV studio on Robron Street in Campbell River as more than 500 great items were auctioned off to raise $112,600 for the Rotary Club of Campbell River

Proceeds from the 2-day auction will support the worthwhile efforts of Rotary locally, as they have in the past, with projects like the Rotary Seawalk, the Splash Park, the Bike Park, the Rotary Community Fieldhouse, Elk Falls Suspension Bridge, and the new whale in Willow Point.

Keeping Our Word

The word "éy7á7juuthem" means “Language of our People” and is the ancestral tongue of the Homalco, Tla’amin, Klahoose and K’ómoks First Nations, with dialectic differences in each community.

It is pronounced "eye-ya-jooth-hem."
