Missing Campbell River Hiker Found Safe

Jesse Bachmeier has been located and is safe.

A hiker reported missing after heading out earlier this week has been found safe and sound.

A hiker reported missing after heading out earlier this week has been found safe and sound.

RCMP put the notice out Thursday, saying the 32-year-old Campbell River man hadn't been seen since going out for a hike in Strathcona Park on Tuesday.

Shortly after police announced the call for help, the man was located, with the Mounties thanking the community for their concern and help.
