The Mountainaire Avian Rescue Society is reopening their doors in the Visitor Centre this Friday.
The reopening follows another pandemic shutdown for the Visitor Centre, although the hospital always remains open.
The temporary closure of the site has allowed their construction team and hospital staff to put protections in place to mitigate the spread of Avian Influenza. With their commitment to the safety and well-being of resident ambassador birds (eagles, owls, and crows) and wildlife patients being their first priority, they’ve been monitoring and adapting tours at the direction of the hospital staff.
The public is welcome to visit Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you wish a tour, please book a spot at https://marswildliferescue.com/book-a-tour/
