We may only be a few days into the New Year, but now is the time to start thinking about camping.
Many of BC Parks' campsites are open for reservations starting today - with campers able to book a site four months ahead of time, instead of the previous two-month booking window.
Also, the province says more campgrounds are being added to the new reservation service for the 2023 season.
2022 was a pretty good year for campers coming out of the pandemic with more than 317,000 reservations made on the new BC Parks reservation service - an increase of 26.5 percent from 2019.
