A Campbell River man has been charged after a break and enter last month at the Centennial Pool.

Derek Glenn Domeij has been charged with one count of break and enter.

He was arrested last week with his next court appearance set for September 14.

Inspector Jeff Preston, Officer in Charge of the Campbell River RCMP, says property crime, including break and enters, continues to be a concern in the community.

He says officers remain focused on investigating these types of offences and identifying those responsible.

RCMP continue to investigate several break and enter incidents that have occurred throughout the city over recent months.

Police encourage residents and business owners to remain vigilant, secure their properties, and report any suspicious activity.
