A 33 year old man is facing charges after shots were fired in the area of Nunn’s Creek Park over the weekend.
They got the call on Saturday afternoon.
All on-duty Campbell River RCMP officers responded with assistance from Police Dog Services and officers from the BC Highway Patrol.
Police located many people in the area and one individual attempted to evade police by hiding. When he was found, he was in the vicinity of multiple firearms. Three firearms and ammunition were seized.
The investigation continues.
