Lower Mainland Men Arrested On Drug Charges In Campbell River

Charges have been laid against two lower mainland residents after a drug bust in Campbell River back in November.

Multiple charges of trafficking in a controlled substance were approved this week against the pair, based on an investigation conducted by the Campbell River RCMP Street Crimes Unit.

Parmvir Dhaliwal and was charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl and one count of Obstructing a police officer.

Gurvinder Deo was charged with two counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Fentanyl and one count of Obstructing a police officer.

Police allege the two were arrested by officers on November 16th after trafficking activities were witnessed in Campbell River.

Subsequent to arrest, police located cocaine and fentanyl packaged for street sale.

A trial date has not yet been set.
