The list of things to do on Halloween continues to grow in the region.

The annual Courtenay Halloween Parade and Party, put on by Courtenay Recreation in partnership with the Downtown Courtenay Business Improvement Association, is a go this year.

The free event is at the Lewis Centre and in Downtown Courtenay from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

It starts in Downtown Courtenay with a Trick or Treat Parade at downtown businesses on 4th, 5th and 6th streets, after which you can make your way to the Lewis Centre for the party.

The LINC Youth Centre is hosting its Haunted House again - from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Admission is $2/person or $5/family.

The haunted house is planned and run by youth aged 8 - 18 in The LINC’s Ghoul School with support from staff.

Over 15 local youth have been busy since September preparing for the event. They chose the theme, made the sets and props, and are set to play characters in the Haunted House.

The LINC is located at 300 Old Island Highway, near the Ryan Road intersection.

For further information call The LINC 250-334-8138 or Lewis Centre 250-338-5371 or visit LINC Haunted House.
