Beginning Tuesday morning (April 9), the Village of Cumberland’s engineering consultant will be piloting a drone around the Village to collect data and high definition orthographic photographs.
The Village says the data is crucial for future modelling, mapping, and engineering projects.
In a release, staff say they are told the drone is quite large and may be flying at seemingly low altitudes.
But there’s no cause for concern.
The release also notes that no personal data will be collected during the flight.
